The Choco Monarch at Al Ghurair center, Dubai (Dessert Heaven)

The concept of having an affordable dessert parlor and cafe in malls is a great idea as it attracts a lot of shoppers while they are searching for the best deals. This cafe can also be considered as a heaven for dessert lovers.

Choco Monarch fulfills all the sweet tooth and caffeine cravings by serving a wide range of desserts such as crepes, waffles, french toasts, pancakes and brownies. They also have a wide array of hot beverages such as hot chocolate, latte, mocha and much more for caffeine lovers.

The interior seems to be welcoming as their are no discreet doors to enter into the cafe which creates a strong impression that visitors can freely grab their coffee and go away or enjoy the lively atmosphere of the mall by seating around. There are a lot of different seating arrangements to make the guests comfortable and lighting levels seems to be fairly acceptable for working on laptops.

I believe that the french toast with the vanilla ice cream on top was a showstopper as it went perfectly well with my coffee macchiato. The french toast was crisp and well drizzled with caramel sauce and after letting it sit for a while the ice cream had got mixed with the caramel sauce which also somehow reduced the sweetness note.

We tried a lot of different desserts which were completely topped with chocolates, fruits and ice creams. It was a wonderful experience especially dipping strawberry in chocolate fondue as its taste is one of a kind. Presentation was also fantastic as they took the pain to arrange each an every piece of fruit.

Now moving on to drinks, the monster milkshake was their signature as it a blend of Oreo chocolate milkshake being topped with Oreo biscuit, rollo and whipping cream. The caramel macchiato was pretty decent with the right proportion of caramel syrup.

My overall impression is that this is an amazing place to visit for having sweets and coffee. My recommended desserts would be french toast, caramel macchiato and monster milkshake. The food quality, taste and services seems to be very fair as per the price bracket.

The culinary experience could also be enhanced if they could drizzle the toppings according to the customers needs as everybody has a different preference. They also have some pretty decent offers going on which is called as happy hours from 10 AM to 2 PM.
